Scott Bolleter,  EMT-P
Known as Scotty to his friends, is a well respected Paramedic and internationally recognized speaker. He is an original member and patent holder with the Vidacare team where he remains the director of education working extensively in product development, research and professional services. Scotty retired from his Flight Paramedic position with San Antonio AirLife where he had been flying critical patients for 14 years. With twenty-five of EMS behind him his resume now includes the additional past positions of Assistant EMS Program Director for Victoria College, Training officer and Supervisor for Harlingen Community Emergency Care Foundation as well as EMT and Paramedic for Aransas County EMS. During his time in the streets, air, classroom and laboratory Scotty has built his reputation on compassionate patient care and a relentless tenacity to do the right thing. His work in EMS has literally taken him across the US and around the world. His publications, presentations and accomplishments are extensive and you can find his work in articles, books and videos throughout the world of EMS. Scotty has received multiple awards in his career including the 2000 EMS Person of the Year from the State of Texas, The Humanitarian Award, from The EMS Associates of Utah, for work in Haiti and Recognition from the Texas Commissioner of Health for his work in Pediatrics. Paramedic Scotty Bolleter is best known for his inspiring lectures, moving poetry and "from the heart" speaking style. Simply put, he is the kind of speaker with a message and style that you will not soon forget.
 
 
Christopher Ebright,  CCEMT-P
Chris is the EMS Training and Program Coordinator of the MedCorp Training and Education Center in Toledo, Ohio. He has been providing medical education for 13 years and has extensive experience in the field that ranges from primary EMS response to critical care transportation. Chris is a faculty member of Owens Community College where he is a primary instructor of anatomy and physiology for paramedics. In addition, he is an affiliate faculty member of the annual Ohio state fire school. Chris is currently an annual presenter at many EMS conferences throughout the United States. He resides in Delta, Ohio, is married and has 3 wonderful dogs. Chris brings an audience a high-level of energy and interaction with relevant, useful information for all levels of pre-hospital care.
 
 
Dwight A Polk,  MSW, NREMT-P
Dwight is the Paramedic Program Director at the University of Maryland Baltimore County (UMBC) in Baltimore, Maryland and is a familiar face20at conferences around the country. Along with being a fulltime educator, he is a volunteer paramedic and co-author of Jones & Bartlett’s "Prehospital Behavioral Emergencies and Crisis Response". Additionally, he has written for JEMS magazine publishing several articles on mental illness. Dwight has a Master's Degree in Occupational Social Work and is a Crisis Counselor for the Grassroots Crisis Center in Columbia, Maryland. He is also a mental health professional on the Baltimore City Fire Department and Maryland Natural Resources Police Critical Incident Stress Management (CISM) teams.
 
 
Fidel Garcia,  EMT-P
Fidel started his EMS career in 1980, working 20 years for hospital-based private and volunteer ambulance agencies throughout CO. He was a flight paramedic for St. Mary’s Air Life for nine years and worked in emergency departments for the first 12 years of his career. Fidel started teaching EMS classes in 1983 and was instrumental in developing an EMS program at a Vocational Technical Center in 1989. He was the EMS Education Coordinator for St. Mary’s Hospital EMS Outreach Program for nine years. He is also the President / Owner of Professional EMS Education, LLC and has been presenting at local, regional, state and national EMS conferences for the last 12 years, as well as providing CE programs in CO, AK, UT, NM and several other states over the last three years. Fidel has articles published in EMS journals and is a frequent reviewer for ALS and BLS EMS textbooks.
 
 
Jacob Waldschmidt, 
Jake is a Firefighter/Paramedic for the City of Kenosha Fire Department. He has over 10 years of firefighting and EMS experience, as both a volunteer and career firefighter. He currently serves as the EMS Coordinator-Quality Improvement and chairs the Quality Improvement Committee. He also serves as a fire/EMS instructor for the Kenosha Fire Department’s Training Division. In addition, he is an adjunct instructor for Gateway Technical College, where he teaches Firefighter I and Hazardous Materials/WMD Operations.
 
 
Dave Long,  EMT-P, RN
Known as the “Airbag Detective,” he has worked as a Paramedic and EMS Educator at North Memorial Medical Center for 20 years. He is currently the Airbag Safety Specialist with North Memorial Ambulance, a CAAS certified service in MN and Wisconsin. He is one of the nations top trainers in airbag technology, hybrid cars and emergency driving. Dave is a contributor for EMS Responder.com and a contributing author to many national technology magazines.
 
 
Daniel Carlascio, 
Known for his success as educator and public speaker, he is an advocate for paramedic practice. Dan brings real world experiences and practical applications to the classroom that needs a no-nonsense approach to the application of emergency medical services. During his 28 year career in EMS, he has been a paramedic in the U.S. and Canada for fire-based and private EMS provider agencies, a flight paramedic for two hospital-based rotor wing air medical programs and has been responsible for Loyola University Medial Center’s nationally-accredited paramedic program. He is currently the clinical implementation manager for Philips Healthcare covering 14 Midwest states. Dan’s experiences, coupled with his energetic performances and lively presentations create excitement with students and customers and improve didactic and clinical results.
